TPCC President Revanth Reddy has disclosed to the media that party candidate for Huzurabad by-election will be finalised in a meeting on August 30. The meeting will be attended by Telangana Congress affairs in-charge Manickam Tagore, working presidents and senior party leaders. He stated that Manickam Tagore will tour Karimnagar on August 29.
According to reports, former minister Konda Surekha might get a chance to contest from Huzurabad constituency. Some other aspirants from the Congress are keen to fight in by-election. The TRS declared Gellu Srinivas Yadav as their by-poll nominee.
