Hyderabad, June 13: A viral video showing a young man using a laptop while riding on a bike in Hyderabad has drawn criticism from city police, with Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar urging people not to engage in risky behaviour on roads.
The video, which circulated widely on social media, showed the individual apparently working on a laptop while travelling on a two wheeler. Reacting to the clip, Sajjanar said road safety must not be compromised for work.
Sajjanar warns against dangerous road behaviour
Posting on social media, Sajjanar said every activity has an appropriate place and method. He cautioned that working from a bike while travelling puts both the rider and others at risk.
He stated that even a brief loss of concentration on the road can lead to serious consequences. He also reminded commuters that work should not come at the cost of personal safety.
Sajjanar urged people to avoid irresponsible actions while travelling and advised them to follow safe road practices to reach their destinations without harm.
The video has triggered discussion online about work pressure and unsafe multitasking in public spaces.
