Hyderabad: Doctor tests positive for Omicron
Hyderabad, Dec. 22: Panic gripped among the residents of Hyderabad after increasing Omicron variant of Coronavirus positive cases. According to the reports, till now 24 Omicron variant positive cases reported in the state.
A senior oncologist in Hyderabad tested positive for the Omicron variant of Covid-19 after he treated an international traveller in a corporate hospital in the city.
He became the primary contact of an Omicron-affected patient who consulted him for cancer treatment. Alerted officials are busy in contact tracing and sending them for quarantines. Officials taking all Covid-19 induced safety protocols and conducting Covid-19 tests.
