Hyderabad on High Alert: Rain Advisory Issued, Urges Residents To Stay Indoors
Hyderabad on High Alert | Hyderabad, Aug 13 (Maxim News): In view of the heavy rains, GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan advised the people on Wednesday afternoon to remain indoors and avoid venturing out unless necessary.
The Commissioner visited the GHMC Control Room to monitor the rain situation and said, “We are on high alert due to the rains in the city. Employee leaves have been cancelled.”

In the GHMC Advisory, it has appealed to the people to remain indoors and avoid going outside unless necessary. Register complaints via the GHMC App and Control Room, and GHMC officials will respond promptly.
Do not open manholes under any circumstances. Place special focus on traffic choke points, coordinating with police and HYDRA to prevent traffic jams.
All senior officials were available at Headquarters. Relief activities to be overseen by the Deputy Commissioner and the local Tehsildar. (Maxim News)
