Hyderabad Police Bust Illegal Hookah Lounge in Rein Bazar Area, 9 Apprehended

Hyderabad, April 23 (Maxim News): Acting on credible information, the South Zone team of the Commissioner’s Task Force apprehended nine individuals involved in running an unauthorized hookah center on Zafa Road under the jurisdiction of Rein Bazar Police Station.

During the operation, the team seized several items used in the illegal hookah setup, including: 10 Hookah Pots;1 Pack of Apple Hookah Flavour;1 Roll of Premium Hookah Foil; 25 Packets of Hookah Coils. The estimated value of the seized materials is approximately ₹30,000.

The enforcement action was conducted under the supervision of S. Raghavendra, Inspector of Police, along with Sub-Inspectors K. Narsimulu, G. Anjaneyulu, N. Naveen, and the dedicated staff of the Task Force South Zone.

All apprehended individuals, along with the confiscated materials, have been handed over to the Station House Officer of Rein Bazar Police Station for further investigation and legal action.

The Hyderabad City Police reaffirm their commitment to curbing illegal activities and ensuring public safety across the city. (Maxim News)
