Hyderabad: Private buses booked for overspeeding

Hyderabad, March 26: Cases were booked against drivers of ten private buses for over speeding and rash driving by the Rajendranagar traffic police.

A special drive was conducted by the Cyberabad traffic police following complaints of over speeding and rash driving by the drivers of private buses on the PVNR Expressway.

Following the complaints, the Rajendranagar traffic police mounted a vigil on the PVNR Expressway between Attapur and Aramghar cross roads and caught the drivers.

The vehicles were detained by the traffic police and the drivers booked. Later all of them were counseled to follow traffic rules.

Several airport bound motorists were complaining to the traffic police about the over speeding by the bus drivers on the PVNR Expressway during the night and early hours of the day posing risk to other road users.
