The perimeter wall, which was constructed in survey numbers 601 and 602, was demolished in the early hours of the morning. It was demolished after complaints were received regarding the disputed road site.
However, the victims are angry that the perimeter wall they had built on their patta land was demolished by HYDRA officials without giving any notice. The victims have announced that they will take legal action against the HYDRA officials.
Meanwhile, HYDRA has decided to take strict action against illegal dumping of construction and other waste. The organization’s teams have kept a special vigil on vehicles dumping waste in ponds, canals, and vacant lots. HYDRA Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams caught four tippers illegally dumping waste in several areas at midnight. Four tippers dumping waste in Undasagar and a Proclainer who was immediately flattening the dumped soil were also caught.
Later, a complaint was filed at Bandlaguda Police Station to hand over the vehicles and the driver-cleaner and register a case against them. Another lorry was caught dumping soil in the Devulapalli (Samarkunta) pond under the jurisdiction of Pet Basheerabad Police Station. The vehicle, driver and cleaner were handed over to the police.
