I will remain in Congress: Vishnuvardhan Reddy

Hyderabad, July 5 (Maxim News): Former MLA from Khairatabad Assembly constituency and son of veteran Congress leader PJR, P. Vishnuvardhan Reddy today made it clear that he was in the Congress party and added that he would remain in the same party.

Reddy, who has been lying low for a long time, said he would become active in the days to come. He also said he was ready to discharge any kind of responsibility if the party assigned any post to him. Commenting on hosting a party for the party leaders, he said he was organizing it in order to meet all the party leaders. He also said he had invited the party leaders like TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and other senior Congress leaders of his party.

When asked about the recent entry of his elder sister Vijaya Reddy into the Congress party from the TRS, Vishnu preferred to not comment on the issue. He, however, said it was the party’s decision to allow anybody into the party.

Commenting on the legacy of his father PJR, he said the legacy of his father would be carried forward by him and the party workers. The decision of Vishnu to host the party has become a talk in the political corridors of the Congress party as it is being held in the wake of the recent joining of his sister Vijaya Reddy into the party.
