Increased Traffic On The Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway

Hyderabad, Jan 10 (Maxim News): Traffic on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway has increased with people going home for the Sankranti festival.

On Saturday morning, vehicles were lined up along the highway.  Traffic at Choutuppal and Pantang toll plazas increased.  On the other hand, the police are advising motorists to take alternative routes.  Those going towards Chittyal via Bhuvanagiri and Ramannapet are advised to take th3e Sagar Highway.

With the start of the Sankranti holidays, the congestion at MGBS and JBS has increased.  Dilsukhnagar, LB Nagar, Uppal, and Tarnaka intersections have become hustling.  RTC is running special buses to cope with the congestion.  On the other hand, the congestion at railway stations has also increased.
