At present, the Congress-led India Alliance is leading in 224 seats.  NDa alliance led by BJP is leading in 291 seats.  Especially in Uttar Pradesh, the Indian alliance is giving tough competition.  So far in Uttar Pradesh NDA is leading in 38 seats and India Alliance in 41 seats.  Also, in states like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal, candidates of the Indian alliance continue to have huge leads.

The majority of the exit polls predict that the INDI alliance will get less than 150 seats. However, the India alliance is moving towards achieving better results, turning the expectations of the survey organizations upside down.

On the other hand, in many big states in the north, the seats for NDa are decreasing.  Against this backdrop, INDI alliance has fared beyond expectations to the surprise of many political analysts. (Maxim News)
