IPL 2020: Man Arrested For Organizing Betting In Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A supervisor at a road transport company was caught by the Hyderabad City Police on Thursday on charges of organizing cricket betting in the city.
The Task Force (West) seized Rs.32,500, five mobile phones and other articles from N Vijay Kumar (42), who was working as a supervisor with a transport company at Attapur and was a resident of Begum Bazaar.
“Vijay Kumar was organizing cricket betting on IPL matches and collecting money from punters at his residence in Begum Bazaar,” said P Radha Kishan Rao, DCP (Task Force).
Vijay Kumar was handed over to the Begum Bazaar police for further action.
