Hyderabad, Oct 12 (Maxim News): AIMIM Supremo and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi made key comments on the Jubilee Hills by-election.
He spoke to a media channel on Sunday and set out his position. He said they have not taken any decision yet on support in the Jubilee Hills by-poll. He also said they have good and close relations with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
Owaisi said, “we have no enmity with anyone.” He stressed that they are not making ideological compromises in politics. He also reminded that AIMIM supported BRS in the last elections. Therefore, he placed the current talks in that wider context. Meanwhile, he noted that CM Revanth Reddy called him recently and sought a meeting.
After the meeting, Owaisi said the Chief Minister asked what problems exist in his constituency. Then, Owaisi raised the metro issue. He said part of his constituency still lacks a metro line. He stated that the total cost to complete the metro line will be around Rs. 2 crore. Also, he said he brought this to the attention of Revanth Reddy.
Owaisi repeated that no final stance has been taken on the Jubilee Hills by-election. However, he highlighted working ties with the Chief Minister.
He also recalled past support to BRS to show consistency. Therefore, he framed his current outreach as issue-based. Later, he added that the focus remains on the Jubilee Hills by-poll. Also, the remarks show both prudence and leverage. Then, the possible support decision may follow talks on local needs.
For now, Owaisi’s message is simple. “We have no enmity,” and there will be no ideological compromise. (Maxim News)
