Telangana Shyam, also known as Pagidipalli Shyamsan, contested on the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi ticket. He secured 143 votes.

His entry drew attention because he became known during the Marwadi Go Back protests. He opposed groups he accused of harming local traders.

He also used social media to raise concerns about alleged business networks. His activism earned him strong public engagement during the movement.

Even so, his by election campaign did not convert into votes. Many observers said his reach stayed limited outside protest circles.

Yet his presence added variety to the contest. It also drew fresh attention to the issues he raised earlier. Supporters said he will continue to fight for local traders and small businesses.

The by election result revealed voter sentiment across key areas. It also showed changes in urban political behaviour.

Congress expanded its lead. BRS held its second place yet faced new challenges.

BJP stayed in the race but could not make a breakthrough. Analysts said parties must study booth wise patterns to plan future moves.

They added that the vote reflected local concerns as well as citywide shifts. The election again proved that Jubilee Hills responds sharply to political performance.
