Hyderabad, March 20: Jummat-ul-Vida traffic restrictions will be in force near Mecca Masjid and Charminar on Friday. Hyderabad Traffic Police announced road closures due to the last Friday prayers of Ramadan. Therefore, police will regulate traffic from 8 am to 4 pm.
Police will close main roads from Charminar towards Madina, Murgi Chowk and Shalibanda. However, officials will divert traffic at several junctions to reduce congestion. Commuters should plan alternate routes.
Jummat-ul-Vida Traffic Restrictions And Diversions
Police will divert traffic from Nayapul at Madina Junction towards City College. Meanwhile, traffic from Nagulchintha and Shalibanda will move via Himmatpura towards Hari Bowli. Also, traffic from Chowk Maidan will move towards Kotla Aliza or Moghalpura.
Traffic from Moosabowli will divert at Motigalli towards Khilwath Ground and Fateh Darwaza. Similarly, traffic from Etebar Chowk will move towards Mandi Miralam Market or Bibi Bazar. Police will also divert vehicles from Mitti Ka Sher towards Ghansi Bazaar.
Devotees can park vehicles at Gulzar Function Hall, Mufid Ul Anam Grounds and Charminar Bus Terminal. They can also use AU Hospital parking and Khilwat Ground. Meanwhile, city buses will stop at Afzalgunj. RTC buses will run on diverted routes.
In Secunderabad, police will close Subhash Road from 9 am to 1 pm. However, they will divert traffic towards Ranigunj and Paradise. Police advised commuters to check traffic updates on HYDTP social media. They also asked people to call 9010203626 during emergencies.
