Hyderabad, July 24 (Maxim News) : A juvenile involved in multiple house burglary cases in Lallaguda has been ordered to spend two years in the Government Special Home for Boys after being found guilty by a Hyderabad court.
The order was passed by the V Additional Judicial Magistrate, Nampally, in connection with two house burglary cases registered by the Lallaguda Police.
According to police, the 16-year-old Child in Conflict with Law (CCL) was involved in house break-ins at railway officers’ bungalows in South Lallaguda. The accused allegedly stole cash and other valuables from the premises.
Police registered cases under Crime No. 52/2026 and Crime No. 67/2026 under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). Investigators identified the accused through CCTV footage and later apprehended him.
On July 23, the court pronounced its judgment in JCC Nos. 130/2026 and 131/2026. After finding the juvenile guilty, the court directed that he be placed in the Government Special Home for Boys at Gajularamaram in Medchal Malkajgiri district for two years.
Police said the juvenile had previously been involved in eight property-related criminal cases registered in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda police commissionerates. These included allegations of theft, house burglary and housebreaking.
The investigation was conducted by Sub Inspectors G. Amar Singh and Ch. Vijay of Lallaguda Police Station. Assistant Public Prosecutor Srilatha represented the prosecution, while court liaison work was handled by CDO C. Praveen Kumar.
Police said the conviction reflects continued efforts to curb habitual property offences and strengthen action against repeat offenders through the juvenile justice system. (Maxim News)
