KCR Committed For Minority Welfare: Talasani
Hyderabad, June 1 (Maxim News): State government was giving equal priority to all religions in Telangana, according to Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.
The minister was speaking while inspecting the arrangements for Iftar Party being hosted by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at LB Stadium along with SATS Chairman Venkateshwar Reddy and City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar and other officials here.
The minister said the Minority Welfare department was hosting the Ifthar party for Muslim community to mark holy Ramzaan, he said. KCR has been offering as a tradition the Ifthar party to the Muslims, who are happy with various welfare schemes, Srinivas said, adding Ramzaan was being celebrated after 30 days of fasting by Muslim brethren. The party celebrates Telangana State Formation Day on June 2. The program is being organized in coordination with other departments, he added. (Maxim News)
