KCR Farmhouse Lands | Hyderabad, Sept. 18 (Maxim News): Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the government has documents related to the land issue surrounding former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s farmhouse.
Speaking to the media at the Assembly on Friday, Ponguleti said KCR would have to respond to the issues raised after the ongoing survey of lands around his Erravelli farmhouse. He said there would be no issue if the land had been legally registered.
The minister said officials were examining the extent of overlapping land between Erravelli and Venkatapuram. He said notices could be issued if the survey finds discrepancies in the land records or extent.

Ponguleti also said the government would not trouble farmers who hold valid pattas for assigned lands near KCR’s farmhouse. He warned that action would be taken against officials if they harassed genuine pattadar farmers.
The comments come as Revenue and Land Department officials continue a survey around KCR’s farmhouse. The exercise is aimed at determining the extent of government land in Survey No. 325 and examining the relevant land records.
The government’s allegations concern land around the Erravelli farmhouse, including an area claimed to overlap between neighbouring villages. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy had earlier ordered a fact-finding exercise and directed officials to submit a report within 30 days.
Ponguleti said the government had documents to support the issues raised and maintained that those concerned would have to respond to the questions arising from the land survey. (Maxim News)
