Hyderabad, July 12: Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of failing to act on alleged Kaleshwaram corruption and of protecting links to the KCR family.
Kishan Reddy told media that Revanth Reddy promised to recover Rs 1 lakh crore from the KCR family. He asked why the state has not pursued alleged irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project. He questioned whether investigation agencies are inactive or obstructed.
He urged the chief minister to introspect before criticizing BJP leaders. Meanwhile, Kishan Reddy said his visits to Amberpet slums revealed damaged roads and non functioning street lights. He added that monsoon season worsened drinking water shortages in peripheral settlements.
Kishan Reddy also said beneficiaries still await double bedroom houses and pension disbursals. He claimed eligible people have not received pensions despite repeated applications. He pressed the GHMC and Water Board to resolve these service gaps immediately.
Further, he faulted the state for uneven development, saying focus remains on Hi Tech City. He urged authorities to address infrastructure and welfare shortfalls across Secunderabad, Amberpet, Sanathnagar, Old City and other areas.
