Kollur ORR Accident | Hyderabad, Oct. 25: Two people died in a road accident involving an Ashok Leyland vehicle and a water tanker on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Kollur in Sangareddy district on Sunday.
The accident occurred when the Ashok Leyland vehicle rammed into a water tanker engaged in watering trees along the road divider. The incident took place within the limits of Kollur police station.
The deceased were identified as Srinath, 25, the driver of the Ashok Leyland vehicle, and Srinivas, 30, a Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) staff member who was watering the trees.

According to reports, Srinath became trapped inside the vehicle’s cabin after the collision and died from his injuries. Srinivas died at the scene.
After receiving information, police reached the accident site and shifted both bodies to Patancheru Government Hospital for further procedures.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Further details are awaited.
