R&B Department Sets Up Statewide Monitoring System
The Minister instructed officials to work in close coordination with the Revenue, Police, Electricity, Irrigation, and other concerned departments to address rain-related emergencies effectively.

He said inter-departmental coordination is essential to minimize disruptions and respond quickly to any developing situation.

He also asked officials to create public awareness and alert residents in vulnerable areas whenever flood risks emerge. In locations where roads suffer damage due to heavy rainfall or flooding, temporary repairs should be carried out immediately to restore connectivity and prevent inconvenience to commuters.

To strengthen monitoring efforts, the Minister ordered the establishment of a dedicated control room at the R&B Department headquarters in Erramanzil, Hyderabad. The control room will track weather-related developments and road conditions across the state on a real-time basis.
