KTR Calls for Strong Voter List Monitoring
He directed leaders to ensure no bogus votes enter the rolls. He also asked them to identify duplicate and fake votes allegedly linked to rival parties and seek their removal through legal procedures.
KTR recalled previous concerns raised during the Jubilee Hills bypoll. He said irregularities in voter registration had affected the party in that contest.
He stressed that no genuine voter should lose voting rights during the revision process. He also urged workers to actively help eligible new voters register their names.
The BRS leader announced that former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav would supervise the voter revision drive across Hyderabad district.
Speaking at the meeting, Talasani asked every MLA and constituency in charge to give top priority to the programme. He directed leaders to identify active booth level workers immediately and appoint them as Booth Level Assistants.
He said the list of assistants should be shared with officials and the party headquarters without delay.
Talasani also announced special training sessions for booth level agents at constituency level in the coming days. He assured full support to local leaders during the exercise.
He said voter lists often decide victories and defeats in urban politics. Therefore, he asked the party to remain alert throughout the revision process.
