KTR Should Not Be Arrested Till Dec. 30: HC
Hyderabad, Dec 20 (Maxim News): BRS Working President and MLA K.Tarak Rama Rao got a small reprieve in the High Court. A hearing was held on KTR’s lunch motion petition to quash the FIR registered against him by the Telangana ACB in the Formula E car race case.

AG Sudarshan Reddy argued on behalf of the state government that interim orders should not be issued as the preliminary investigation has already been completed. Senior Supreme Court advocates Sundaram, Prabhakar Rao, and Gandra Mohan Rao argued on behalf of KTR in the High Court. They said that the sections under the Prevention of Corruption Act are not applicable in this case and the FIR should be quashed. After hearing arguments from both sides, the bench ordered the KTR not to be arrested till the 30th of this month. It clarified that the investigation in the case registered against KTR by the ACB can continue. The bench adjourned the next hearing tothe 27th of this month. (Maxim News)
