Hyderabad: A fire broke out in a cafeteria on the fifth floor of Salarpuria Sattva Knowledge City in Madhapur at 6 a.m. on Saturday (December 21, 2024).

“We got an alert around 6.15 a.m. and rushed there, suspecting a cylinder blast. But we need to ascertain facts,” Raydurg Inspector Ch. Venkanna said.
Mr. Venkanna said more than two fire tenders were called to put out the flames, and no casualties or injuries have been reported. The fire came under control within an hour.

TV visuals showed thick smoke emanating from the building, which is located in Hyderabad’s IT zone, which is filled with swanky structures.
Shaik Khaja Karimulla, the District Fire Officer of Rangareddy further stated that the cause of the fire will be determined after an investigation.
