Laxman Discharged From Hospital-Talks of National Stir on Inter Results Issue

Hyderabad, May 4 (Maxim News): BJP State Unit President Dr. K. Laxman was discharged from NIMS hospital on Saturday. Several party leaders accompanied him during his discharge from hospital.

Addressing media persons after his discharge, Laxman claimed that they had been agitating to get justice to the failed intermediate students since April 15, and added that the protest programmes eventually culminated into his indefinite hunger strike. He alleged that the state government authorities had detained them when they sat on hunger strike while noting that it was a feudal, dictatorial Government. He also alleged that the state government led by ruling TRS party was brutally suppressing the anti-government voices and their movements in a state which was achieved through such movements.

He said that their party’s national president Amit shah and union minister Ahir assured him of organizing a national level agitation on the issue to do justice to the intermediate students and urged him to end his indefinite fast. Laxman said that they would now visit the family members of those children who have committed suicide while making it clear that they would continue to agitate till the students got justice in the state.

He termed the statement of TRS Leader KTR, who said that opposition parties were politicizing the issue, as a stupid statement . He thanked every body for extending support to his strike. The party MLC N. Ramachander Rao also spoke on the occasion. (Maxim News)
