Liberation Day: KTR Unfurls Tricolor At Telangana Bhavan

Hyderabad, Sept.17 (Maxim News): To mark Telangana Liberation Day today, TRS working president and IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao today unfurled national flag at TRS Bhavan here. He paid rich tributes to martyrs of Telangana during Hyderabad armed struggle and later.

The minister tweeted later that on his day in 1948 Hyderabad was merged with the Indian Union. Remembering countless sacrifices and salutes to martyrs, he added. It may be said Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has said the TRS conducts the liberation day. He said in the Assembly to allow the parties to celebrate the same as the TRS is unfurling tricolour to mark the day when erstwhile Hyderabad State was transformed from autocracy to democracy.

Those who were present include ministers V Srinivas Goud, Ch Malla Reddy, MLCs N Narsimha Reddy, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and a large number of party activists. (Maxim News)
