• Artisans are the souls of culture says Mir Ashfaq

• Livends is a start up and is on a mission to create the largest community of artisans in Telangana.

• Opening Jobs Market to Telanganites

• Livends is “Legends of Telangana”

Hyderabad, March 26: India is known for its diversity in culture, spread across its states. We find different types of handmade goods and artworks made by artisans and craftsmen in different parts of the country.

Livends is growing as a brand that connects artisans to the rest of India and the Globe in general. Standing for authentic art and a community that is struggling for a livelihood, the brand is not only a platform for selling handiworks, but also brings out the journey of each products’ creation.

We at Livends are glad to be part of their journey as their eCommerce platform that takes their handmade products to customers across Globe.

Livends is proof of how e-Commerce can transform your business and connect you to a wider audience. If you’re someone who has been holding back from following your passion, it’s time to take a leap of faith and start your own business online by signing up on Livends for free, says Ar Mir Ashfaq Ali Khan.

Corporate gifting is becoming a popular trend among organisations, helping build the relationship with employees, and customised goods have paved their way into this business. This has the added benefit of supporting the artisans who make it, he added

Strengthening the artisan community

Ar Mir Ashfaq Ali Khan and Syed Hasnain Abbas got the idea of starting a business that supports local artisans, back in September 2020. Just like other non-essential retailers, the pandemic badly hit craftsmen. It had brought a downfall of the entire productive and financial machinery bringing the entire craft ecosystem to a halt.

The founders identified that traditional Telangana and Indian craftsman were not getting the attention they deserved. Also, the market is full of unauthentic replicas sold at cheaper rates. And, the expert craftspeople were away in rural areas, with no access to modern business facilities. They were also concerned that many of them gave up their craft because of the struggle to make a livelihood out of it.

Right now, LIVENDS “In the first phase, has a strong community of more than 100 artisans across different District of Telangana”.

Livends will reach out those NGOs who are helping the livelihoods of artisans, for selling the products made by them at decent prices fetching them reasonable profits.

KCR Govt’s pro active policy has also inspired us to take the initiative to start an e-commerce platform for helping the artisan. IT Minister K T Rama Rao Vision for Telangana and specially for Start-ups, helped us in coming out in colours, says the founders.

Ultimately, today Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali, V. N. Bharat Reddy, Director Aviation, Telugu Sates (TS & AP), Ken Udai Sagar – TRS Senior Leader Mohd. Khaleequr Rahmanhas launched LIVENDS.com as an initiative to provide a digital platform to the artisans and the women who are working for Feeding families, which have the potential to get worldwide recognition. They help indigenous community to get revenue without having to search for a physical shop to sell their products.
