Loot Is Going On In The Name Of The Irrigation Projects In Telangana: Modi

Mahbubnagar/Hyderabad, Oct 1 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that looting is going on in the name of construction of irrigation projects in Telangana.

He criticized that the projects are being launched as a clamor for elections. They claim that the irrigation projects and canals are being built by spending thousands of crores, but not even a drop of water is flowing in any of the canals.

Prime Minister Modi said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s government is earning illegally in the name of farmer schemes. BRS, which came to power promising to waive farmers’ loans, has not fulfilled the promise. He criticized them for getting votes and getting political benefits. He said that now they are waiving the loan for the election. He said that the Central government respects the rice donors, they claimed that they are getting adequate rewards for their hard work. Telangana farmers through MSP prices get Rs. 27,000 crores, he said. It has been revealed that it is 8 times more compared to the past. Besides, under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Telangana farmers get Rs. 10 thousand crores are being deposited in their accounts.

PM Modi said that India is the largest producer of turmeric in the world. He said that the export of turmeric has doubled, so we are going to give a suitable reward to the turmeric farmers.  

He said that BJP is working to improve the lives of people in Telangana.  Before 2014, Telangana had 2500 km of national highways, after this the BJP government built more than 2500 km of national highways in just 9 years.  He said that roads have been laid from every village in Telangana till reaching the town.
