Man Critical after Setting Self on Fire in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A man allegedly attempted suicide by self-immolation on the road at Chintal in Jeedimetla here on Friday afternoon. The reason for the suicide attempt is yet to be known.

The man, identified as Bhuvan Reddy, is a resident of Sudarshan Reddy Nagar in Chintal. Sources said Bhuvan Reddy doused himself with petrol in full public view and set himself on fire.

The local residents who noticed him in flames rushed to his rescue and after dousing the fire, shifted him to the nearby hospital.
