The Pahadishareef police on Thursday arrested a person for murdering a woman passenger on the night of December 7.
The accused was identified as Md. Feroz and an autorickshaw driver. On the night of December 7, the woman Naseem Fatima boarded his auto at Hafeez Baba Nagar to travel to her home at Chandrayangutta. But on the way, the accused demanded for sexual favours from the woman and when she got angry and demanded to get down from the auto, the accused got angry and pierced the woman’s neck with screwdriver due to which she started bleeding profusely.
As the accused got afraid after committing the offence, in order to hide his offence he took the rickshaw to a secluded place and smashed the head of the woman to hide her identity and later he washed the blood stains from his auto.
