Medaram Jatara In January: Rs. 150 Crores Sanctioned For The Development Of Infrastructure
Hyderabad, Aug 20 (Maxim News): The Telangana government has taken a historic decision to organize the Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma maha jatara. To ensure the successful conduct of this festival, which is known as the spiritual Kumbh mela of the tribals, the government has issued orders sanctioning Rs. 150 crore for the development of infrastructure such as permanent structures, roads, drinking water facilities, electricity and sanitation in Medaram.
Officials revealed that the medarazm maha jatara to be held in January next year will be held on an unprecedented scale. Minister Seethakka thanked Tribal Welfare Minister Atluru Laxman Kumar, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for the funds sanctioned on this occasion. (Maxim News)
