MIM, Others Took Out Huge Rally In City Against CAA
Hyderabad, Jan.10 (Maxim News): A rally with thousands of people was organized here on Friday under the banner of United Muslim Forum. The AIMIM and several other civil society organizations took part in the rally, which started from Mir Alam Eidgah till Shastripuram.
The people, including a large number of women, raised slogans against the CAA and NPR. Meanwhile, the High Court directed the Hyderabad city police to register cases against the agitators if they break law and order in violation of the permission granted to them. It also asked the Director General of Police to ensure that the motorists did not face problems due to the rally.
Dealing with a petition filed by the organization of the rally, the High Court also asked the DGP to videograph the entire procession from the beginning to end. Police submitted to the court that they gave permission to hold the rally in peaceful manner. It may be mentioned here that recently the city Muslims took out Million March on tank bund against the Citizens Amendment Act. (Maxim News)
