Hyderabad, June 3 (Maxim News): The Telangana Minorities Welfare Department is likely to witness a major administrative reshuffle as part of efforts to improve governance, accountability and service delivery across its institutions.
According to sources, Minorities Welfare Minister Azharuddin is reviewing the functioning of various offices and wings under the department. As a result, officials expect transfers and postings of officers and staff across several Heads of Departments in the coming weeks.
The proposed exercise aims to strengthen administrative efficiency and improve coordination among different units. Moreover, the department seeks to ensure faster implementation of welfare schemes meant for minority communities across the state.
Officials familiar with the developments said the review covers staffing patterns, performance standards and operational requirements. Consequently, the department may realign personnel based on administrative needs and service priorities.
The move comes at a time when the government is focusing on improving delivery mechanisms in key welfare departments. Therefore, the proposed transfers are expected to bring fresh momentum to administrative functioning and enhance institutional accountability.
