MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy Arrested At Shamshabad Airport

Padi Kaushik Reddy | Hyderabad, June 21: Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has been arrested in a case of threatening a quarry owner.

Warangal Subedari Police arrested him at Shamshabad Airport. Later, he was taken to Warangal.

Cases have been registered against him under sections 308(2), 308(4), 352 of the IPC.

According to police, a man named Manoj Reddy operates a granite quarry in Vangapalli village, Kamalapur mandal. His wife, Umadevi, filed a complaint at the Subedari Police Station, alleging that Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy threatened her and demanded ₹50 lakh. Based on this complaint, Subedari police arrested the MLA at Shamshabad Airport in the early hours of Saturday.
