More Evacuation Flights Land, Take Pff from Hyderabad’s RGIA

Hyderabad: As many as 331 Indian nationals were evacuated from the UK on an Air India flight that landed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Shamshabad on Tuesday.

This is the fourth Vande Bharat Air India evacuation flight – AI 1839 that arrived from the UK. It first landed at New Delhi before reaching RGIA at 2.21 am with 331 passengers.

The RGIA has also handled a departure evacuation AI flight 1840 at 5.32 am in which 87 passengers left to the United States via New Delhi.

The Interim International Departures Terminal (IIDT) was used for the departure.
