He also highlighted that previous rulers had altered the names of several historic and spiritual cities, such as changing Ayodhya to Faizabad, Prayagraj to Allahabad, and Kabirdham to Mustafabad. He emphasized that his government will continue restoring the original names of places that hold deep cultural and religious meaning for the people of the state.

He also stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s double-engine government remains committed to developing major pilgrimage centers across Uttar Pradesh.

CM Adityanath pointed out that while earlier governments had spent funds on building boundaries for kabristans (cemeteries), the current administration is focusing on the beautification and upliftment of religious sites to support pilgrims and promote cultural heritage.
