‘My traitor friend’: Rahul Gandhi takes a dig at MoS Ravneet Bittu outside Lok Sabha
‘My traitor friend’ | Delhi/Hyderabad, Feb 4 (Maxim News): There was tension outside Parliament on Wednesday. The comments made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi became a hot topic of discussion.
Rahul Gandhi described his former colleague and current BJP MP Ravneet Singh Bittu as a ‘friend traitor’.
In response, Rahul Bittu described him as a ‘traitor of the country’. The atmosphere heated up when the two faced each other at the gate outside Parliament (Rahul Gandhi).
Congress MPs protested outside Parliament on Wednesday morning against the central government’s behavior. At the same time, Ravneet Singh Bittu arrived there.
‘My traitor friend’
Rahul Gandhi, who was with the Congress MPs, saw Ravneet and said, ‘Look.. a traitor has come this way. Look at his face.’ Later, he extended his hand to shake Bittu’s hand and said, ‘Hello brother.. a traitor to a friend. Don’t worry.. you will return to the Congress’ (Rahul Gandhi controversy).
Rahul Gandhi extended his hand to shake hands, but Ravneet Singh Bittoo refused (Congress vs BJP).
Bittoo described Rahul Gandhi as a traitor. Bittoo walked away saying, ‘He came and sat here as if he had won some war.’
In that sequence, there was a war of words between Rahul Gandhi and Ravneet Bittoo for a few seconds. Ravneet left the Congress before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and joined the BJP.
Since then, the war of words between Rahul and Ravneet has been going on. (Maxim News)
