National Testing Agency Announces JEE Main Exam Dates

Delhi/Hyderabad, Oct 19 (Maxim News): The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the dates for the JEE Main 2026 exams. The exams will be conducted in two sessions in January and April. The first session will be held between January 21 and 30, while the registration process will begin in October. Candidates should register at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The second session will be held between April 1 and 10. However, the exact dates for the exams will be announced soon.

The National Testing Agency has taken several steps to provide opportunities to more candidates next year. In view of the large number of candidates appearing for the exam, it has focused on increasing the number of exam cities. It is going to increase the number of centers so that candidates do not have to travel long distances. Arrangements are being made to meet the needs of disabled candidates to write the exam comfortably.

Meanwhile, As part of the smooth conduct of the JEE exam, the NTA has advised all eligible candidates to update all the necessary documents before applying for this exam. This will eliminate the difficulties faced in the application process and subsequent stages.. It said that many problems along with rejection of applications will not arise.

The candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, photo, and address should be verified in Aadhaar. If there are any changes in Aadhaar, the Udai guidelines should be followed. The name and date of birth (10th class certificate) should be updated correctly in Aadhaar.

Also, all the details like latest photo, address, father’s name should be updated in your card. If you are disabled, the UDID card is valid. However, it is necessary to renew and update it. It has been asked to ensure that the category certificate is valid. Candidates should check the official websites www.nta.ac.in, jeemain.nta.nic.in from time to time. Only then can you know all the details related to the exams, the NTA director said. (Maxim News)
