Hyderabad, May 14 (Maxim News): Students of New Deccan Junior College for Girls delivered an outstanding performance in the Intermediate Public Examinations 2026, securing top scores across MPC, BIPC, HEC and CEC streams.
The college management organised a grand felicitation programme at Media Plus Auditorium on Wednesday to honour toppers and faculty members for their achievements.
The institution recorded excellent academic results this year, with several streams achieving 100 percent success.
College management said the results reflect the institution’s continued focus on academic excellence, disciplined learning and women’s empowerment through education.
In second year Intermediate, Ayesha Anam secured 97 percent in MPC, while Madiha Fatima achieved 95 percent in BIPC. Wajeeha Khatoon scored 94 percent in HEC and Fareeha Fatima obtained 90 percent in CEC.
Among first year students, Bushma Fatima secured 97 percent in MPC, Mahroos Khan achieved 98 percent in BIPC and Syeda Maryam Kulsum scored 97 percent in CEC.
Institution Focuses On Women Empowerment Through Education
The programme was attended by Chairman and Managing Director Haji Habibuddin, Secretary and Correspondent Mohammed Basheer Ahmed, along with educationists, faculty members and management representatives.
Addressing the gathering, Habibuddin said the institution was established to strengthen women’s education in a safe and value based atmosphere while ensuring quality academic standards.
He stated that the college provides education with emphasis on moral values, discipline and personality development alongside regular academics.
He said the college is recognised by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education and operates from modern campuses equipped with advanced infrastructure, quality furniture and essential educational facilities. He added that the institution was established to ensure that minority students, especially girls, receive access to affordable and quality higher education.
The management stated that separate campuses are functioning for boys and girls, while women teaching and non teaching staff are deployed in the girls campus to provide a secure and comfortable environment for students.
Officials said the institution functions under Bhagyangar Old City Welfare Organisation, which has been actively working in the field of education and skill development. The organisation is also recognised by Maulana Azad Education Foundation and affiliated with the Government of India.
The college management said coaching is provided for competitive examinations including NEET, EAMCET, ICET and UPSC along with Intermediate education. Weekly tests are conducted regularly to assess academic standards, while special coaching sessions are arranged for academically weak students.
The institution also provides computer training, tailoring centres and skill development programmes for students. Management stated that CCTV surveillance, first aid facilities and strict security arrangements are available across campuses to ensure student safety.
Mohammed Basheer Ahmed said the college places special focus on ethical education and conducts weekly sessions on moral values and religious studies. Parents are also regularly updated about their children’s academic progress and performance.
Officials further stated that New Dawn Degree College was recently established at Santosh Nagar offering courses including BSc, BCom Computers, BBA and BA to create better higher education opportunities for students.
Meanwhile, the boys campus of New Dawn Junior College for Boys at Santosh Nagar Colony recorded a 76 percent pass percentage in the Intermediate Public Examinations 2026.
