Newly-Elected BJP MLAs Took Oath Today In The Assembly

Hyderabad, Dec 14 (Maxim News): Eight BJP members took oath in the Assembly. Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh, Kamareddy MLA Venkataramana Reddy, Adilabad MLA Payalshankar, Nirmal MLA Eleti Maheshwar Reddy, Sirpur MLA Harish Babu, Muthol MLA Ramrao Pawar Patil and Paidi Rakesh Reddy who won from Armoor were administered by Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar.

101 MLAs took oath on December 10, Since MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi was the Protem Speaker then BJP MLAs did not take oath. BJP members opposed the election of Akbaruddin as Protem speaker. They did not come to the Assembly since then. As Gaddam prasad Kumar was elected as the new speaker on December 14, BJP MLAs came to the assembly and took the oath.

Before that Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, Uttam Kumar Reddy, KTR, Kadiam Srihari, Kotta Prabhakar Reddy, Padma Rao, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and Padi Kaushik Reddy from BRS were sworn in by Protem Speaker Akbaruddin Owaisi. So far 117 MLAs have taken oath, Former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, Miryalaguda MLA Bathula Lakshmareddy did not take oath.  (Maxim News)
