NIRD≺ New Director General Assumed Charge

Hyderabad, January 29 (Maxim News): NIRD&PR: Dr. G. Narendra Kumar, (AGMUT:1989) has assumed charge as Director General of National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad on 27th January, 2021 for a period of 5 years.

Earlier he was Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Delhi.

Dr. Narendra Kumar, possesses Ph.D. from Osmania University and holds Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Maxwell School of Public Affairs, USA.

He was instrumental in setting up of 4 Universities in Delhi and in increasing access to quality technical and higher education in Delhi.

Dr. Narendra Kumar is also known for developing Pondicherry as the Hardware Capital of India. Earlier he worked in various national and international academic institutions such as Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) and ICRISAT besides his wide range of administrative experience in environmental protection, social and sustainable development.
