No Surge In Electricity Charges

Hyderabad, Jan 14 (Maxim News): The state government has refused permission to increase electricity tariffs in the state in the next financial year.

It has rejected the request made by the state electricity distribution companies (DISCOMs) to increase the tariffs.

It has made it clear that the current electricity tariffs should be continued in the next financial year 2025-26.

It has allowed the DFISCOMs to submit the Annual Revenue Requirement Report (ARR) and tariff proposals for 2025-26 to the State Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) within a week, proposing to continue the current electricity tariffs in 2025-26 as well. (Maxim News)
