No Water Supply in Many Areas of Hyderabad on February 1

Hyderabad, Jan 30 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has announced that water supply will be temporarily stopped in many parts of the city on February 1. This is due to repair work on the 132 KV bulk load feeder PT at the Dasarlapalli substation.

As a result, water supply from Krishna Phases 1, 2, and 3 will be affected from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday.

Areas That Will Have No Water Supply

Some of the areas where water supply will be affected include:

  • Old City & Central Hyderabad: Mir Alam, Kishan Bagh, Santosh Nagar, Saidabad, Yakutpura, Madannapet, Afzal Ganj, Narayanguda, Tarnaka, Shivam Road.
  • Western & Northern Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills, Film Nagar, Marredpally, Lalapet, Cantonment, Prakash Nagar, Aliabad.
  • Southern & Eastern Hyderabad: Bandlaguda, Vanasthalipuram, Auto Nagar, Uppal, Nacharam, Habsiguda, Boduppal, Ramanthapur.
  • IT Corridor & Outskirts: Gachibowli, Madhapur, Ayyappa Society, Manik Chand, Peerjadiguda, Badang Peta.

Plan & Store Water

Residents in these areas are advised to store enough water in advance to avoid inconvenience. The water board has assured that the repair work will be completed as quickly as possible to restore the supply.
