OC Weaker Sections JAC Demands Justice To OC Students In Medical Admissions, Threaten Stir

Hyderabad, Aug.11 (Maxim News): Open Category, Economical Weaker Sections JAC Forum State president Thadishetty Pashupathi Guptha today urged the State government to ensure that the successful OC students in the NEET examination rendered justice in the admissions in medical colleges.

Speaking to mediapersons along with successful OC students here on Sunday, Pashupathi Guptha urged the government to initiate steps to allocate medical seats for OC students as per rules and ensure that they get admissions in the medical colleges. He said parents and 440 merit OC students were heart broken as they lost seats in the medical counseling conducted as per GO No 550. Appealing to the State and Central governments to intervene and render justice to the meritorious OC students in medical admissions by allocating 190 seats under EWS quota to economically backward OC students.

Pashupathi Guptha said they would call on TRS working president K Tarakarama Rao on Monday to apprise him of their problems. He also urged the officials concerned to respond to their appeal immediately and render justice to the students, otherwise, they would be constrained to launch agitation programs across the State.
