Warangal Urban, March.1 (Maxim News): A nine-year-old girl was killed and her younger brother grievously injured when an earth moving machine accidentally hit a wall while clearing mud and trash from a drainage line during Pattana Pragathi program in the 45th division here on Sunday.
According to the information, an earth moving machine was clearing waste from the drainage when it accidentally hit a wall which collapsed and fell on the two children who were playing at the spot. While the nine-year old Princy died on the spot, her younger brother sustained injuries and was later taken to the MGM hospital.
The bereaved family alleged that the incident took place due to the driver’s negligence. Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhasker and district Collector visited the spot and consoled the family members. They also assured the family of all assistance. (Maxim News)
