Hyderabad, Dec 5 (Maxim News): Cyber Crime Police of CCS, Detective department have arrested Lalit, native of Punjab who cheated the innocent people on the pretext of Love Astrology.
According to the Jt. Commissioner of Police, said that about three months back on October 19 a complaint from one resident of Hyderabad was lodge the complainant said while she was searching for an astrologer in Instagram (Online), she came across a profile of this astrologer named Gopal ?Shastri with Instagram handle : Astro-Gopal” with phone number. She contacted him over phone and got the information, for which he initially charged her with Rs. 32,000, totally he cheated her to a total amount of Rs. 47,11,808, in this regard a case has been filed under section 66 C, D ITA Act and 419, 420 IPC was registered and investigated.
The team lead by K.Haribhushana Rao, Inspector of Police and SI P.suresh, A.shailender Kumar and Constables B.Ravi shankar, Manish tiwari, A.ramu, M.Saikumar, N.vamshi under the supervision of KVM Prasad, Asst. Commissioner of Police, Cyber Crime has arrested the accused and seized One 5G mobile phone, One mobile phone, two debit cards and one HDFC Cheque Book. (Maxim News)
