Online Cricket Betting Gang Busted: More Than Rs. 40 Lakhs Cash Seized
Hyderabad, April 10 (Maxim News): The Madhapur team of Cyberabad police on receiving the information raided the Srinidha Service Apartment, Flat No. 505, Matrusree Nagar under Miyapur PS, and caught a four-person gang and recovered cash of Rs. 40 lakhs along with laptops, and mobile phones were seized.

On investigation, it was found that Sakamuri Venkateshwar Rao of Guntur Narasaraopet @ Chinnu is conducting online cricket betting. The arrested accused are working as bookies under the leadership of Sakamuri Venkateshwar Rao.
The accused are (1) Aluru Trinidad, Age 34, Occ. Laptop Operator, R/o Lakshmi Classic, Mayuri Nagar Miyapur, N/o Pattipadu, Guntur, AP, – He was earlier arrested in Hayathnagar PS, Rachakonda Hayatnagar PS, Rachakonda). He has been working as a bookie for the last two years. (second major bookie)
2) Manam Rajesh Age.33, Occ. Laptop Operator, R/o Sunshine Square Apartments, Tirumala Shivpur Colony, Capra, ECIL, Secunderabad, N/o Prakash Nagar, Narsaraopeta, Guntur. (bookie)
3) Bolle Swamy Age.30, Occ.Line Reading R/o Sunshine Square Apartments, Tirumala Shivapur Colony, Capra, ECIL, Secunderabad, N/o Bustard Road, Sangadigunta, Guntur. (bookie)
4) Marpenna Ganapathi Rao Age. 57, Occ. BUSINESS, R/o Matrusree Nagar, Miyapur, N/o Linga Migrant Village, Rajeru Manda, Vizianagaram Dist.. (Buki)
5) Sakamuri Venkateswara Rao @ Chinnu N/o Narasaraopet Guntur District, AP. (Main Organizer – Fugitive)

Seized Total Rs. 43,57,461/- (Rs. 3,57,461/- in various bank accounts), cash Rs. 40,00,000/-), Smart Phones-08 (Worth Rs. 2,70,000/-),. Keypad Phones -02 (Worth Rs. 2,000/-), Laptops -03 (Worth Rs. 1,50,000/-), Tabs -02 (Worth Rs. 80,000/-). Two wheelers – 03 (Rs. 4,00,000/- value), The total value of Caesars is Rs. 52,59,641/-
