Osmania University To Hold 84th Convocation On August 19, Celebrating Academic Excellence And Student Achievements
Hyderabad, July 21 (Maxim News): Osmania University is all set to host its 84th Convocation Ceremony on August 19, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s long-standing tradition of honoring academic excellence and student achievement.
The grand ceremony will take place in the esteemed presence of Dr. V. Narayanan, Chairman of ISRO, Bengaluru, who will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest and deliver the convocation address. His Excellency Jishnu Dev Varma, Governor of Telangana and Chancellor of Osmania University, will preside over the event, lending prestige and encouragement to the graduating class.
Osmania University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kumar Molugaram expressed pride and joy in announcing the convocation, highlighting it as a celebration of the unwavering commitment and academic efforts of students across all disciplines.
During the ceremony, the university will confer Degrees, Diplomas, and Gold Medals upon students who successfully completed their programs during the academic years 2022–23 and 2023–24. In addition, Ph.D. degrees awarded between November 1, 2023, and August 6, 2025, will also be formally conferred.

Prospective candidates can find the application details on the official Osmania University website. The deadline for submitting applications without a late fee is August 7, 2025, while submissions with a late fee will be accepted until August 12, 2025.
