Hyderabad, Aug.13 (Maxim News): Tension prevailed for some time in Osmania University when the students organized a rally welcoming AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi to Hyderabad city today.
The students organized a Rahul Welcome Rally from Main Library Building to Arts College. But the police obstructed the rally stating that they have no permission for the rally. Angry students entered into an argument with the police. They alleged that the police gave permission to the TRSV’s black flags rally but the same police were obstructing the rally taken up by them.
Lashing out at the police, the student leaders asked the Osmania University Police to wear pink dress instead of Khaki and obstructed their rally. Student leader Manavatha Roy said while four crore people of Telangana were welcoming Rahul Gandhi to Hyderabad, but the four members of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao were trying to obstruct Rahul’s tour in the State.
