Rahul Advises Booth-Level Leaders To Strive For Cong Win

Hyderabad, Aug.14 (Maxim News): AICC President Rahul Gandhi on the second day of his visit in Telangana State on Tuesday interacted with the party’s booth level committee chiefs on the ways and means to strive for the success of the Congress party in the ensuing elections.

In the tele conference with nearly 3000 booth committee presidents, Rahul Gandhi enquired about the TRS administration in the state, especially with regard to implementation of KCR’s promise of providing double bedrooms for the poor and three acres of lands to the Dalits. When informed that these promises were only on paper and yet to be fulfilled, he said that once the Congress comes to power in the state these would become a reality.

Rahul Gandhi stressed the imperative need for the booth level committee chiefs to strive hard to gain the confidence of the poor and downtrodden by highlighting the unstinted efforts being made by the Congress party for the welfare and upliftment of these sections. He emphasised the need for the party cadre to enlist the support of these sections by infusing confidence in them that the Congress party’s sincere efforts to resolve all their issues.

The TPCC on the occasion also made a power point presentation about various measures being taken in the reserved constituencies to strengthen the hands of the SC and ST leadership. the AICC President also interacted with the leaders of these sections in Achampet, Choppadandi and Dornakal areas.(Maxim News).
