Hyderabad, August 29: Lax Gopisetty, President and CEO of Infosys Public Services, is uncontactable after flash floods hit Nepal.
He was on a personal trip to Nepal when the disaster struck. Infosys confirmed the development and said its priority is to ensure his safety.
The company is working with relevant authorities to locate him.
According to Infosys, the company is also in touch with Gopisetty’s family.
It is providing necessary support during this difficult situation. Furthermore, Infosys said it is coordinating with authorities to establish contact with him as soon as possible.
Additionally, Infosys Public Services is a subsidiary of Infosys Limited. It provides technology and digital services to public sector organisations. Its primary markets are the United States and Canada.
Moreover, Gopisetty has been leading the organisation as its President and CEO.

Moreover, India is actively coordinating with Nepal on rescue and relief efforts.
The Ministry of External Affairs is assisting Indian citizens affected by the floods. Consequently, Indian diplomatic missions in Nepal are working to track the safety of nationals in the affected zones.
Meanwhile, rescue teams continue their search in flood-hit areas.
Efforts to locate missing persons, including Gopisetty, are ongoing. Additionally, this case is connected to a broader group of eight Indian-origin US nationals who also went missing near the Nepal-China border around the same time.
